You’ll learn the general concepts embodied in the Project Management Institute’s A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge – PMBOK® Guide, and virtual project management skills that enhance the ability to manage geographically distributed software development.  Students will be prepared for careers such as; project manager, systems analyst, designer, programmer, research manager, IT consultant, or administrator of technical projects while also gaining specialized techniques in software risk management, software cost estimation, and software quality management.
