The latest snapshot of project management trends and opinions from the ProjectsAtWork community…

The results of the latest Survey Says online poll by ProjectsAtWork show that most project leaders and team members worked on several projects in 2009, with a majority of the projects less than $1 million in budget size — a finding that confirms the scaled-back mantra adopted by organizations coping with the economic downturn.

The December 2009-January 2010 poll found that 78 percent of readers participated in three or more projects last year, while another 14 percent worked on two projects. Only eight percent of respondents were involved in just one project.

The majority (54 percent) of 2009 projects were budgeted under $1 million.
