Companies, regardless of industry, are making drastic changes in order to succeed in an increasingly competitive business environment, and many are seeking turning to Scrum, an agile project management framework. But experience shows that adopting agile methods like Scrum without making any fundamental changes in organizational structure, or modifying how projects are managed, invariably becomes a recipe for failure.
 
In 2010, we will see more and more companies begin to integrate agile principles into how they do business, internalizing the values an agile approach has to offer and taking their adoption of practices like Scrum to a much higher level.
