Sciforma Releases Latest Version of PPM Tool

On the heels of being named a “Visionary” in the project and portfolio management market by IT analyst Gartner, Sciforma has released the latest version of its web-based PPM solution and joined the ranks of Registered Education Providers for PMI.
Sciforma Corp. has released the latest version of PSNext, its web-based project and portfolio management tool, incorporating a range of new features to enhance resource management, while continuing to emphasize accessibility and ease of use. In its recent analysis of the IT project and portfolio management market, Gartner placed Sciforma in its “visionary” quadrant.
New features in PSNext include the ability to rank projects based on alignment with business strategy, and to place prospective projects in various pipeline scenarios to gauge their impactupon human, material, facility and capital resources. In addition, enhanced resource allocation management allows project managers to estimate resource needs based on resource profiles, and resource managers to study resource activity at a glance to fulfill requests made by the project manager.
Other PSNext features include increased customization opportunities through user-defined objects(risks, invoices, purchase orders, etc.) without a single line of code, and pooled risk capabilities, allowing project managers to insert buffers at key points and the end of projects to protect milestones and plan for uncertainty.
