Can’t We All Just Get Along?

Project managers have the difficult task of overseeing diverse teams, and finding ways to motivate and keep them functioning in harmony. While this often may seem like an impossible task, especially as organizations cut resources and spending, it’s doable. Understanding these six workplace personality types can go a long way.
Each of us has our own natural style of thinking, processing information, problem solving and communicating. Conflict on projects often arises when communication appears to be at a standstill — or when someone has miscommunicated his or her message. By learning to give your team members the information they need, in the manner they can process most efficiently, you can actually increase productivity and create a more harmonious work environment.
