Strategy & Projects Summit to Be Held in May

May 19-21 event in Boston will address ideas that help cut through the economic slump and present the PMO of the Year.

PM Solutions’ Center for Business Practices will bring together senior-level portfolio, program, project and strategy management executives to examine and debate the most critical issues their organizations are facing today at the fourth annual Strategy & Projects Summit, slated for May 19-21 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Boston.

This year’s event will also feature the presentation of the Project Management Office (PMO) of the Year Award to an organization that best demonstrates innovation in developing and maturing an organizational structure to support the effective management of projects. During the event, the winner will share the methods, ideas and processes that led to measurable improvements and tangible benefits to their organization. Previous winners have included EDS and Norton Healthcare.

According to CBP director Jim Pennypacker, summit attendees can expect to discover cutting-edge best practices and lessons learned in managing strategy and projects — integrating strategy, portfolio, program, project, and performance management — from management thought leaders and knowledgeable senior practitioners.
