PMI Accredits Shanghai Jiao Tong Univ. PM Program

Engineering master program in project management is the most popular engineering masters degree in the country.
The PMI Global Accreditation Center for Project Management (GAC) has accredited the Engineering Master Program in Project Management (EMPM) at the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China. PMI GAC accreditation involves a rigorous process that can take up to 18 months to establish quality and global standards for project management degree programs at the graduate and undergraduate level.
The EMPM degree offered at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and 102 other schools in China is the most popular engineering masters in the country. Shanghai Jiao Tong University is one of 10 lead school that help shape the curriculum and quality of the program. About 10,000 students in China are enrolled in the EMPM program, which is designed to produce graduates who are able to coordinate, restructure and allocate resources efficiently for the safe and timely implementation of projects. The program provides a solid theoretical basis in project management as well as advanced techniques and decision-making.
Shanghai Jiao Tong University, formerly the Nang Yang Public School, was founded in 1896 and is one of the oldest universities in China.
