eProject Becomes Daptiv
  (November 12, 2007)

New name and branding reflect on-demand project portfolio management provider’s goal to expand presence in enterprise collaboration space.

Daptiv, an on-demand collaboration software provider officially debuted its new brand today, creating Daptiv and jettisoning its original moniker, eProject. Still offering the flagship on-demand collaborative project and portfolio management (PPM) platform, the Daptiv brand name signals the company’s goal to expand it presence in the enterprise collaboration and management space.

As part of its new identity, Daptiv is emphasizing the concept of “work Intelligence,” blending established project management, business intelligence and customizable applications to help companies manage, analyze and understand all the work done in the enterprise. Daptiv has also launched PPM Fall ’07 Edition, a set of capabilities designed to give staff at every level visibility into business operations and key performance data through drill-down reporting, drag-and-drop dashboard creation and data visualization.

Founded in 1997 as eProject, the Seattle-based company helped pioneer the software-as-a-service model in collaborative project management.
