PSO Performance Study Launched
  (October 2, 2007)




Research effort will measure which best practices are predictors of success in professional services organizations.

Information technology research firm Service Performance Insight (SPI) and Adexta Consulting are inviting professional service organizations (PSOs) to participate in an ongoing research project to benchmark the correlation between performance and the adoption of best practices. The 2007 Professional Services Performance Pillars study focuses on “five service performance pillars” — business strategy, finance and operations, human capital alignment, service execution and client relationships.
 
Through the analysis of industry benchmarks and practical guidance from experts in the field, the survey, which can be downloaded here, will measure which key elements are the most important predictors of overall success.
 
“The survey is 129 questions and should not take long to fill out,” said SPI managing director R. David Hofferberth, P.E.  “We completed it in less than 40 minutes.
