A new report by Cutter Consortium argues for redefining IT governance in broader terms. Here, the author outlines the case and offers 10 principles -- spanning collaboration to corporate culture -- that are crucial to success.
IT governance is real, unavoidable and political. Increasingly, it's stimulated by regulatory changes. To some, it defines corporate culture. Others only think about governance as being applicable to back-office processes. The approach to governance that I'm taking here is broader than most definitions you'll find.
